This individual ordered BMW E90 M3 was built with a rare Brilliant White exterior paint finish. In a world full of Alpine White BMW’s (not a bad thing), Hanh wanted something little different than the norm. Hanh went to HG Motorsports from San Diego to handle the upgrades for his M3 since HG had previously helped build the car for the previous owner BigLare.
This specific specimen has undergone several iterations of builds. The latest includes new front bumpers and additional interior refinements to become one of the most unique and beautiful BMW E9x M3’s.
Power comes courtesy of ESS Tuning’s VT2 625 supercharger kit. In the past, we had on loaner from Arkym, a Fire Orange E92 M3 for a week with the first ever VT2 625 kit and we know for a fact the issues with keeping 305 rear tire sections on the ground from this supercharger setup. Followed by seat time in the backseat of Hanh’s M3 with several drag runs with 4 people in the car (before roll cage, of course). The ESS Tuning VT2 625 truly generates tremendous power. The exhaust tone comes from a hybrid Akrapovic X-pipe and Eisennman inconel exhaust system.
We also had the fortune of driving the car about 200 miles for a photoshoot. During that time we were able to drive the car up in Los Angeles Crest. The car is simply a pleasure to drive.
The Toyo tires are kept on the ground with KW Clubsport suspension and braking power from Brembo color matched in teal. A set of custom finished Battleship Grey HRE P44SC was selected. The P44SC are the lightest wheel style in the P40SC Series from HRE Performance Wheels. The amount of carbon fiber used on this vehicle is astonishing. Exterior pieces from Vorsteiner and Challenge were used. Custom roll cage was finished in the same teal throughout the car.
Hanh’s BMW M3 is simply one of a kind.
